lj is sucky; my dad's fine

I can't access LJ so I won't be around there until they manage to fix teh stuff. The Livejournal Status page says they will be posting further updates on their maintenance comm: not much help when you can't get on the site itself!

I've been way too panicked to think about LJ anyway: my dad fell off the roof today. Spent the evening up A&E in Dundee. He's fine, thankfully, and he's home now. In a lot of pain, but nothing was broken. He is an extremely lucky man.
